Biography

Coaching with CrossFit Route 7 since October 2019.

When I was young, I always seemed to stumble around on the sports field. Whether it was soccer, basketball, or softball, I continuously struggled with balance and coordination. Then in 2006, I discovered the sport of rowing. It not only helped me forget all of those “ball sports”, but also became my passion for the next 10 years. I rowed at the highest level throughout high school, trained with the U.S. Junior National Team, and competed in Division 1 at the University of Notre Dame. Rowing taught me many things: discipline, patience, the importance of teamwork. It helped me build confidence and maintain a strong mindset. It helped me define the meaning of endurance and hard work. I first tried CrossFit during the rowing off-season. I immediately fell in love with the challenge, versatility, functionality, and incredible tight-knit community. After I completed my college rowing career, I dove headfirst into CrossFit, and found myself itching to share what I loved about it with others.

CrossFit doesn’t give you a place to hide from your weaknesses. It helps you identify them, and then gives you the tools necessary to strengthen them. Your only job is to show up and work hard. CrossFit provides all of us the equal opportunity to become better versions of ourselves every day. As a coach, my #1 objective is to help others on their own journey towards seizing that opportunity.

I’m extremely humbled, honored, and excited to be a part of the CrossFit Route 7 community. No matter where your relationship with fitness stands today, I hope to support, encourage, and coach you through that relationship and whatever else life throws at you. I look forward to getting to know each of you and your specific goals. I am excited to be coaching you, training with you, learning from you, cheering for you, and celebrating successes with you.

I hold the following certifications:

  • CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, CF-L2
